We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Inventory Analyst to join our team. This position is well-suited to a analytical thinker who likes to think outside the box in order to promote a continuous improvement approach to inventory management.
This position is based in the Procurement department and answers to the Head of Purchasing. As the Senior Inventory Analyst you will be required to have a passion for data and reporting and articulate this into a format which inspires value added change.
Leadership responsibilities, to include Appraisals, Performance, KPI’s, bonuses, and sickness and Absence.
Using Optimiza plus other sales data sources to generate monthly stock and sales reports to forecast accuracy, stock, provision, POS and KPI’s.
Month end process to include sales forecasting and policy settings review.
Maintaining and improve company's inventory by analysing statistics of product performance.
Draft inventory reports for inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
Report inventory statistics to management to improve inventory control
Support the product launch process to include monitoring actual progress against launch sales forecast (including POS).
Represent Supply Chain in product launch meetings and to delegate tasks to team.
Monitor commercial specifications, take appropriate actions to ensure suitable stock levels are maintained to meet specific and general sales demand.
Document all related processes and procedures to include training.
2+ years’ experience in supply chain supervisory role
