We are looking for a Project and Bid Coordinator to support the successful delivery of projects within the Project Management Office while coordinating and contributing to high-quality bid submissions for both commercial and government clients. The role ensures projects are effectively managed and bids are delivered to a high standard to secure new and existing business. This role is located in Redhill, Surrey
Key Responsibilities of Project and Bid Coordinator
Assist Project Managers in the implementation and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives
Support the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including Project Management Plans, Risk Registers, and Project Schedules
Monitor project progress and ensure smooth coordination across departments
Maintain accurate financial records and produce monthly reports for the Programme Director
Organise and support internal project review meetings
Track project tasks and ensure completion in line with agreed schedules
Support cost tracking and supplier management activities
Coordinate bid activities in line with company bid management processes
Contribute to writing and compiling high-quality bid submissions
Maintain and update the bid library and bid tracking databases
Support post-bid reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure all bid responses are completed on time and meet quality standardss
Deliver effective support for project implementation aligned with programme priorities
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of project and financial reporting
Contribute to the successful submission of competitive, high-quality bids
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Experience & Qualifications of Project and Bid Coordinator
Degree in technology, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Project Management qualification (desirable)
Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Visio, and Project
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to travel to work in Redhill, Surrey
