We are seeking an IT Assistant to support our team. This role forms the IT function for the organisation and reports into our VP of Engineering for Infrastructure. You will be responsible for delivering IT support and management that contributes to the smooth operation of our business, contributing to a brilliant employee experience.
Responsibilities:
1. User on-boarding and off-boarding
2. Re-imaging and configuration of MacOS devices
3. Partnering with our Mac leasing and trade-in provider to order any required devices
4. Account set ups
5. Providing IT introductions
6. Liaising with managers and HR throughout this process
7. Decommissioning users, hardware and managing the IT off-boarding process
8. Administration of our primary IT systems, including:
9. Google Workspace
10. Slack
11. Jira/Confluence
12. Zoom
13. Administration of various IT-level company systems and distributing account access and managing permission settings for them
14. Meeting room AV management including the set up and management of the company All Hands AV
15. Providing efficient and high quality software and hardware support to internal users
16. Inventory management and restocking
17. Maintaining the organization and tidiness of the IT server room
18. Managing IT vendor relationships
19. Management of our corporate Vodafone account, ordering and distribution of new iOS devices and managing mobile contract upgrades for end users
20. Managing all physical assets and ensuring all employees are equipped with the assets required to deliver effectively
21. Managing office printers
22. Managing our IT insurance process and arranging hardware repairs with Apple Authorized service provider
23. Arranging any required Mac upgrades and the trade in of end of line devices
Requirements
24. Experience providing IT support in a MacOS environment and working and resolving issues with Apple hardware
25. A fast learner, who is able to use their own initiative to apply new learnings and solve problems
26. Enjoys working and providing support independently and taking ownership of the IT function
27. Passionate about contributing to a brilliant employee experience and contributing to a strong company culture
28. Proactively identifies opportunities to improve our practices and drives forward these improvements
29. Strong attention to detail, hard-working and diligent individual
30. Discreet and reliable (you will be privy to confidential information in this role and it’s essential that high trust exists)
31. Experience of using common IT admin tools, such as Google Workspace
32. Good communication skills and able to interact with different stakeholders at all levels
33. Adaptable and organized, with the ability to successfully juggle multiple and varied tasks throughout the course of the week
34. Skilled at troubleshooting hardware and software issues
35. Capable of seeking solutions to a variety of technical problems
36. Motivated to expand their knowledge base through training and learning on the fly
37. Some experience managing vendor relationships
