Job Description As Technical Director, you will be responsible for leading the engineering design of complex maritime infrastructure and have experience across the Ports, Defence, Transport, and Energy sectors. You will lead a growing team and provide technical direction, design leadership and structural design oversight. You will be responsible for ensuring engineering technical excellence and maintaining high standards of safety, sustainability, and constructability. You will be required to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, actively engaging with other disciplines, collaborators, stakeholders, and clients, and be able to confidently and comfortably communicate structural engineering concepts through all phases of design. How you’ll make a difference: Oversee the design, analysis, and implementation of structural engineering projects within the maritime sector. Ensure compliance with national and international standards, regulations, and best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and project specifications. Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Engage with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies to advocate for sustainable practices and quality assurance.
