Clinical Training Officer (CTO) Ayr x 2
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Education and Professional Department (EPDD) following the recent move to our new education base in Ayr for a clinical training officer.
The successful candidate will have a passion for education and supporting learners, work well in a team, be flexible and problem solving, and be able to work under pressure with tight time frames and competing priorities. This role is extremely rewarding and central to the delivery of safe, effective, person‑centred care in the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The successful candidate for the clinical training officer (CTO) post will deliver a variety of education through a selection of programmes including vocational training for ACA’s and Technicians, Learning in Practice (LiP) for all patient‑facing staff, NQP induction training and a role in driver training.
Qualifications
* Registered with the HCPC/ NMC or equivalent.
* Educated to degree level with highly developed professional knowledge.
* Demonstrate achievement in areas of quality, practice development, research or policy and clinical practice.
* Have excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to manage change. Flexibility and ability to work independently.
* Facilitation, problem solving, networking and project management skills.
* Show how through their own CPD they develop their own learning and how they support other learners in their current role.
