As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead cost management and contractual operations across major projects. Your expertise will ensure optimal financial performance, compliance, and client satisfaction from project inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Cost & Contract Management
* Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
* Monitor and control project costs, identifying savings and managing variances.
* Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
* Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all contractual matters.
Procurement & Tendering
* Oversee tender processes and supplier selection.
* Negotiate favourable contract terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
* Provide strategic advice on procurement and cost planning.
Reporting & Risk Management
* Deliver regular cost reports and performance analysis.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely corrective actions.
Leadership & Mentorship
* Guide and mentor junior surveyors.
* Promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
* Chartered status (RICS/CICES) is essential.
* Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost control.
