Premier Medical Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking practice team in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established GP practice serving approximately 14,650 patients in a diverse and vibrant community.
We are seeking a GP who is passionate about delivering high‑quality patient care and enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will join an experienced and supportive clinical team including GPs, nurses, HCAs, pharmacists and administrative staff.
The role is available for 6‑8 sessions per week with a mixture of face‑to‑face and telephone consultations using EMIS Web. We offer a positive working culture, strong management support and opportunities to contribute to service development and innovation within primary care.
Salary is competitive at £11,500 per session under standard BMA salaried GP contract terms.
Main duties of the job The successful candidate will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care within a busy general practice setting. Duties will include undertaking face‑to‑face and telephone consultations, managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing safely, reviewing pathology results, processing clinical correspondence and maintaining accurate patient records using EMIS Web.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of QOF, enhanced services and practice improvement initiatives. The role also includes participation in clinical meetings, maintaining good clinical governance and supporting continuity of care for patients.

Job responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality, comprehensive medical services to the practice population
Undertake face‑to‑face and telephone consultations for patients presenting with undifferentiated and diagnosed conditions
Assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients appropriately within general practice
Prescribe safely and effectively in line with national and local guidance
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate
Review pathology results, clinical correspondence and other patient‑related documentation
Refer patients appropriately to secondary care and community services
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous and complete patient records using EMIS Web
Participate in safeguarding processes for vulnerable adults and children
Support continuity of care and patient safety at all times
Quality and Governance
Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and audit activities
Contribute towards achievement of QOF and enhanced service targets
Work in accordance with GMC guidance and professional standards
Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements
Participate in significant event reviews and learning activities
Support safe prescribing and medicines optimisation initiatives
Team Working
Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, care coordinators and administrative staff
Participate in regular clinical and practice meetings
Support multidisciplinary working across the practice and wider primary care network where appropriate
Contribute positively to team culture and staff wellbeing
Teaching and Training
Premier Medical Centre is a teaching practice and actively supports the development of future healthcare professionals. The successful candidate may have opportunities to support and supervise medical students and trainees where appropriate.

Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and licence to practise
