TPF Recruitment are currently supporting a fantastic chartered accountancy practice in Tonbridge, Kent, who are recruiting for an Audit Manager on a permanent, full-time, or part-time basis. The provision of audit and accounts work is flexible and can be tailored around the candidate's experience and aspirations.
As an Audit Manager in this role in Tonbridge, you will be assigned your own client portfolio, including a mix of company and charity audit clients, company accounts, taxation, and personal tax returns. Training can be provided as needed. You will work within a team of managers, overseeing a team, managing workflow, and reporting directly to the partners.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering audit/accounts assignments
* Leading some large and complex assignments
* Reviewing statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax computations
* Supervising junior staff during audits and reviewing their work
* Delivering the audit file to the partner in a timely manner
* Identifying cross-selling opportunities and potential management letter points
* Monitoring your chargeability and assignment budgets proactively
* Coaching staff for improved performance and technical development
* Developing sector-specific knowledge and keeping abreast of industry developments
* Mentoring audit & accounts trainees and contributing to training and development programs
Requirements
For this Audit Manager vacancy in Tonbridge, you will be:
* ACA or ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience, or qualified by experience
* Able to apply audit standards practically
* Knowledge of UK GAAP
* Practical experience in preparing group accounts
* Knowledge of IFRS (useful but not essential)
* Experience with both not-for-profit and corporate clients (advantageous but not essential)
