Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing UPVC windows and doors to a professional standard and possess a variety of skills that enable them to install, repair, and maintain windows effectively. This role requires attention to detail, an understanding of building regulations, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
* Install and replace windows in residentialproperties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
* Perform necessary adjustments and repairs on existing window installations.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and fitting materials.
* Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
* Conduct site assessments to evaluate the condition of existing windows and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Experience
The successful candidate should possess experience in the following areas:
* Hand tools & Power tools: Proficient use of various tools is essential for effective installation processes.
