Senior Associate – Commercial & Residential Property
Location: Crowborough, East Sussex
The Opportunity
A long‑established and highly respected Sussex law firm is seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join its practice at Senior Associate level, with genuine scope to progress to Partner.
This is a strategic hire for a commercially minded lawyer who wants to play a key role in shaping and expanding both the firm’s commercial and residential property offering. The role offers real influence, leadership responsibility and long‑term career progression within a collaborative and friendly environment.
The Role
You will manage a diverse and high‑quality caseload across both commercial and residential property, including:

* Drafting and negotiating complex documentation
In addition to fee‑earning, you will:

* Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships
* Take an active role in business development and networking
* Support, mentor and supervise junior lawyers
* Contribute to departmental strategy and growth
* Ensure high standards of compliance and client care
About You
This role would suit a Senior Associate or Partner‑level lawyer who can demonstrate:

* Strong technical expertise across commercial and residential property
* Proven experience managing a broad, complex caseload
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A commercial, client‑focused approach
* Confidence leading matters and advising at a senior level
