Quant Capital is urgently seeking a Windows Infrastructure Automation Engineer / PowerShell Engineer to join a high‑profile quantitative trading client in London.

The firm operates a mixed Windows and Linux infrastructure across physical and virtual environments. This role is ideal for a highly capable Windows engineer with a strong automation mindset and deep PowerShell expertise, motivated by solving complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
You will contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of infrastructure systems, with a focus on:
* Windows platform engineering and automation
* Operating systems and endpoint management
* Authentication and identity systems
* Virtualisation and core infrastructure services
* Network and messaging services across Windows and Linux environments
Required Skills & Experience
* STEM degree or equivalent technical background
* Strong Windows systems engineering and automation experience
* Advanced PowerShell skills (C# exposure beneficial)
* Deep understanding of Windows technologies (Active Directory, Failover Clustering, etc.)
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
* Familiarity with Windows Server technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Exchange, SCCM, Hyper‑V, ADFS)
* Working knowledge of Linux, networking, and security concepts
* Experience integrating on‑premises and cloud environments
* Experience with containers across Windows and Linux
* Background in high‑performance or low‑latency environments
