Senior Business Development Manager

Software Sales - Logistics

Up to £90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Remote with UK Travel

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in selling Logistics Software Sales? Our client is a global Logistics and Supply Chain Software Solution provider. This role involves developing and converting a sales pipeline and accountability for individual sales reporting. The Senior Business Development Manager will also support sales initiatives and collaborate across the business to convert significant opportunities with corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership
o Sales Growth: Develop a new business sales pipeline aligned with sales KPIs for growth, with accurate reporting and forecasting.
o Strategic Projects/Bids: Coordinate strategic bid responses.
o Key/Global Accounts: Collaborate to maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities with key clients. Lead sales efforts for customers with significant potential.
o Culture Building: Promote a motivated sales culture focused on success, inclusivity, and growth.

Client Relationship Management

* Client-centricity: Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
* Source and Selection: Generate qualified leads to meet sales KPIs from personal activity and network.

Business Partnership

* Communication: Work closely with Sales Director, Marketing Directors, and Sales Analysts to align strategies and operations.
* Deal Focused: Identify and support new business opportunities to generate revenue.
* Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee and report on sales pipeline activities.
* Lead Generation: Collaborate with Marketing to drive lead generation.
* Data-driven: Develop and monitor KPIs, using insights to improve strategies.

Experience

* Previous experience as a Business Development Manager.
* Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Software Sales.
