Responsibilities
* Serve all customers efficiently, professionally and courteously at all times.
* Ensure guests receive the highest standard of customer service.
* Advise guests on all products available within the venue.
* Promote a happy and welcoming atmosphere within the venue.
* Work alone or as part of a team to meet guests’ needs to the highest standard.
* Maintain stock levels and rotation within work and storage areas to avoid waste and assist with stocktaking.
* Ensure the work area is adequately stocked with glassware, ice, condiments and other sundries.
* Lay up and prepare restaurants/boxes for service of meals, tea, coffee and light refreshments.
* Serve all guests efficiently with correct food and beverage service knowledge, cleanup duties as required.
* Service wine and other drinks from the bar as directed.
* Maintain a clean and tidy working and public area, following Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines.
* Record all orders, dispense, authorise for billing, process payments following Racecourse procedures.
* Close all tills in accordance with company procedures.
* Accurately keep temperature records and other paperwork.
* Adhere to licensing policies and procedures.
* Handle cash, stock and equipment securely.
* Act as an information point for customers.
* Record wastage and dispose of rubbish in line with recycling initiatives.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Undertake other reasonable duties in line with business demands.

* Experience working in a hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
