We require a professional Enforcement Officer to take enforcement action in respect of environmental regulations vested in the Local Authority including Environmental Crime such as littering and fly tipping and dealing with Highways Enforcement issues.
We are looking for a team player who will make a major contribution to the reduction of environmental crime and prevention of Anti-Social Behaviour and assist in the provision of feeling and being safer.
Our work is varied and includes specific tasks, covering Environment Enforcement, Responding to Anti-social Behaviour, promoting Community safety, supporting residents and sustaining a safe and fear free environment.
Applicants should possess a current clean driving licence and a good level of literacy, numeracy & IT skills.
All-inclusive rate of pay reflects shift work, unsocial hours, and weekends, and a shift working pattern is in place to provide a service between the hours of 08.00 to 22.00.
Essential qualifications: Full current UK Driving License. Educated to GCSE A-C standard, with a need to articulate both in writing and orally.
