Head of Franchise Development – Europe (QSR)
A well-established global QSR brand is preparing for a major period of European expansion. The business has a strong international presence and is now focusing on building its franchise network across key markets in Europe.
We’re looking for a Head of Franchise Development – Europe to help shape and drive this growth. This role is central to identifying strong franchise partners, assessing new markets, and supporting the company’s long-term development plans. You’ll represent the brand across the region, build relationships with experienced operators, and help guide decisions on where and how the business enters new European markets.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who knows the QSR space well and has hands-on experience growing franchise networks across different European countries.
Key Responsibilities
Franchise Development & Partner Acquisition
* Build and manage a pipeline of qualified multi-unit franchise candidates.
* Lead the full franchise recruitment and assessment process.
* Represent the brand at major franchise events and help build awareness in new markets.
* Assess new markets, including competition, economic conditions, and QSR trends.
* Work with finance, supply chain, legal, and real estate teams to support market entry decisions.
* Prepare clear market overviews and recommendations for senior leadership.
* Provide recommendations on franchise terms based on market research.
* Work with legal and finance on agreements and approval documents.
* Support negotiations through to final signing.
* Oversee lead qualification, NDAs, background checks, and candidate tracking.
* Provide support and guidance to internal teams involved in franchise development.
* Ensure candidates move smoothly through each stage of the process.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong experience in QSR and practical knowledge of developing European markets.
* Strong commercial judgement, communication skills, and experience managing multi-market growth.

You understand the QSR industry and have a solid track record developing franchise markets across Europe. You’re confident working with senior stakeholders, comfortable travelling, and able to build strong relationships with experienced operators and investors.
