Key Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages.
* Encourage students to explore physical and human geography through interactive and thought-provoking activities.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes geographical inquiry.
* Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Humanities curriculum and raise attainment.
Requirements for the Geography Teacher role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Geography in school settings.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make learning relevant and exciting.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
