The North Locality Strathmore (Blairgowrie) Social Work Team invites applications for a full-time, permanent Senior Practitioner. The post includes supervising staff, chairing meetings, and managing a small caseload of complex cases, in a busy rural social work setting that serves adults and unpaid carers.

Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise staff and chair meetings as delegated by the Team Leader
* Hold a small caseload of complex cases
* Work within the North Locality Social Work Team to achieve identified outcomes for adults and unpaid carers
* Contribute to development of local networks of support in a rural area
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience of statutory Adult Social Work and confidence in Adult Support and Protection, Adults with Incapacity, Self-Directed Support and Carers Legislation
* Organised, flexible, with strong time management and ability to produce high-quality work under tight timescales
* Ambitious, compassionate practitioner who can demonstrate integrity in line with Perth and Kinross Council values
* Experienced Social Worker with a background in various settings and statutory work
* Interest in developing skills to support staff and service users; creative, enthusiastic and committed to improving outcomes
* Experience in gathering, monitoring and analysing data; ability to create systems to support this
* Excellent communication, problem solving, and computer literacy; able to prepare and present clear reports and presentations
* Recognised Social Work Qualification (Degree in Social Work, DIPSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent) and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or eligible to register within 6 months
