Afternoon shift : Between Sunday to Saturday start 14:00pm (shifts are 8-10 hours long) pay rate starting from £12.21/h
Night shift: Between Sunday to Saturday start 22:30pm (shifts are 8-10 hours long) pay rate starting from £12.96/h

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all shipping and receiving tasks are completed accurately and on time. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities
Execute shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all items are accurately logged and stored.
Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.
Handle materials with care, ensuring safe lifting techniques are employed during heavy lifting tasks.
Perform picking and packing duties to prepare orders for dispatch.
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency.
Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained accurately.
Assist with basic mechanical maintenance as needed, utilising mechanical knowledge when applicable.
Requirements
Previous experience in shipping and receiving is preferred.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.
Strong skills in materials handling, including experience with heavy lifting.
Knowledge of AS400 systems is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Forklift certification is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate.
Good physical fitness is required, as the role involves standing for long periods and performing manual labour.
