DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Financial Analyst, FP&A Intl Cluster 1, located in Wokingham (Pinewood), United Kingdom.
The Financial Analyst, FP&A Intl Cluster 1 plays a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across the International Cluster 1 organization. This role partners closely with commercial and operational leaders to provide financial insight, improve decision‑making, and support delivery of business objectives. The position offers strong exposure to international operations within a global MedTech environment and the opportunity to build core FP&A capabilities while contributing to business performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning cycles for International Cluster 1.
* Prepare and analyze financial reports, including P&L results, variance analysis, and key performance indicators.
* Partner with commercial, supply chain, and functional stakeholders to understand performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
* Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support business initiatives, investments, and resource allocation decisions.
* Support month‑end close activities by reviewing results, explaining variances, and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting tools, and standard methodologies.
* Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and governance requirements.
Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (required).
* Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).
Experience and Skills
Required
* Typically 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related finance role.
* Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting or planning systems.
* Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, international environment.
Preferred
* Experience supporting international or regional finance organizations.
* Exposure to MedTech, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
* Experience with financial modeling and business case development.
* Familiarity with ERP and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, or similar).
* Progress toward a professional finance qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CPA).
Other
* Language: Additional European language skills are an advantage.
* Travel: Up to 10% international travel, as business needs require.
