About the role
Are you looking to take your first steps in a career in housing and community development? Do you want to gain hands-on experience while making a real difference in your community?
This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with both the Housing Management and Community Investment & Engagement teams. You will support the delivery of community-focused projects and gain insight into the day-to-day operations of housing services.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the promotion of community investment projects
2. Assisting with the creation and distribution of newsletters
3. Helping to maintain and update the team’s website content
4. Working with local teams to deliver community-based initiatives
This role is ideal for someone keen, proactive, and eager to learn. You’ll be supported throughout your journey and encouraged to develop your professional skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. As part of the apprenticeship, you will also be supported to complete a recognised qualification in Business Administration, helping to build a strong foundation for your future career. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to the team’s social media communications, helping to promote community projects and engage with residents online.
Pay Details Apprenticeship Rate
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37
Main Place of Work: Hybrid working, The Alps Office, The Hub and Home
Temporary Reason: Fixed Term Contract 12 months or on completion of the qualification, whichever is first.
