**About the Role:**
As an Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in underwriting commercial insurance risks, negotiating rates, terms, and conditions for both new and existing business.
**Key Objectives & Responsibilities:**
- Deliver a compliant and excellent service to all clients throughout their relationship with the company.
- Collaborate effectively with your team to meet personal and team targets for volume, income, and quality metrics.
- Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards, and external regulations.
**About You:**
We are looking for candidates who possess strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background in the Commercial Insurance industry.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) or a desire to work towards them.
- Strong customer service abilities, with a professional telephone manner and the capability to engage clients effectively.
- Proven multitasking skills and experience with system updates.
