Job Description Behaviour Mentor – Wandsworth – September 2025 Start Location: Wandsworth, South West London Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only) Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE) Interviews: June/July 2025 Are you a confident graduate interested in supporting pupils’ behaviour, wellbeing, and personal development? A forward-thinking secondary school in Wandsworth is hiring a Behaviour Mentor to work closely with the pastoral team and teachers. This is an excellent role for someone interested in youth work, social work, education or psychology. As a Behaviour Mentor, you’ll support pupils who face challenges with behaviour, attendance or social skills. You’ll help pupils reflect on choices, develop positive habits, and build stronger relationships with staff and peers. The school values respect, inclusivity and student voice. Key responsibilities: Supporting pupils in and out of lessons to improve behaviour and engagement. Running small group workshops on social skills and emotional regulation. Liaising with teachers, parents and external agencies to support pupils. Helping to record behaviour incidents and plan personalised support. We’re looking for: A 2:1 or above in any subject Strong interpersonal and communication skills A calm and patient approach to challenging situations Commitment to the full academic year, September 2025 to July 2026 Please note: Applicants must hold a UK undergraduate degree.
