About Our Client
Our client are a well-known organisation based in Milton Keynes looking to add Facilities Manager to run their asset portfolio.
Job Description
3. Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all facilities across the portfolio
4. Manage and monitor hard and soft services, including cleaning, security, maintenance, and building systems
5. Lead on health & safety compliance, ensuring adherence to all statutory regulations
6. Manage supplier performance, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs)
7. Develop and manage annual facilities budgets, including cost control and reporting
8. Coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
9. Support workplace improvement initiatives and projects
10. Ensure high levels of customer service and stakeholder satisfaction
11. Lead on sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives where applicable
12. Maintain accurate facilities documentation and compliance records
The Successful Applicant
A successful Facilities Manager should have:
13. Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices within the business services industry.
14. Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
15. Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
16. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
17. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
18. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
19. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
