Michelle Denny Recruitment is partnering with Merit Plastic Mouldings to recruit a Production Team Leader for their established site in Diss.
This is a hands‑on team leader role within a fast‑paced plastics manufacturing environment. You’ll lead from the floor, keep production moving, support your team, and play a visible part in day‑to‑day operational success.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support production staff across shifts
* Ensure output, quality and safety standards are met
* Respond quickly to production issues and bottlenecks
* Drive team performance and accountability
* Maintain strong housekeeping and H&S standards
* Liaise with Quality, Logistics and other departments
* Identify continuous improvement opportunities
What We’re Looking For
* Previous plastics manufacturing experience is essential
* Injection moulding or similar highly relevant
* Previous Team Leader / Supervisor experience preferred
* Strong communicator with practical leadership style
* Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
* Comfortable in a rotating shift environment
