Sales & Procurement Manager

We are recruiting for a Sales and Procurement Manager to join a global client specializing in helicopter operations and maintenance. The client provides services such as Helicopter Emergency Medical Services, Aerial Surveillance, Training, and VIP Charter, and also sells helicopters and parts.
The Sales and Procurement Manager will oversee supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, procurement, and contract management daily.
This position is based onsite at the office in Liskeard, Cornwall, with occasional travel across the UK. The Cornwall site is the headquarters for maintenance, hosting the UK's largest stock of AW109 spare parts, and offering full repainting, retrimming, and AW169 base maintenance services.
Role Responsibilities
1. Manage and motivate stores personnel, fostering teamwork within the department and company.
2. Oversee procurement activities and sales of parts across the business.
3. Assist with aircraft teardown, storage, preservation, and parts sales procedures within Part 145 regulations.
4. Develop procedures to ensure compliance with Part 145 and regulatory standards.
5. Act as the main contact for Stores/Logistics/Procurement inquiries, including out-of-hours support when necessary.
6. Organize training for Stores staff on systems like Aerotrac and regulatory documentation.
7. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
8. Maintain stock level procedures for aircraft spares across bases.
9. Ensure timely delivery of procured goods and spares through progress tracking.
10. Manage calibration schedules and documentation for tools and equipment.
11. Facilitate the acceptance and recording of new tools and calibration details.
12. Coordinate third-party companies for maintenance and hangar activities.
13. Support facilities management, including maintenance records and documentation.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in the Aerospace or Aviation industry.
* Familiarity with Aerotrac, Part 145, and Form 1/8130/TC documentation.
* Skills in supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
* Strong analytical abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-energy team environment.
* Willingness to travel across the UK.
* Experience in procurement and contract management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Knowledge of aviation regulations is advantageous.
* Experience with AW109 helicopters is beneficial but not essential.
