Qualification
Essential criteria
1. NMC registered Nurse
Experience
Essential criteria
2. Minimum of 18-24 months of postgraduate experience in a neuro/elderly care/medical or rehab setting
3. Experience of working in either an acute/rehab hospital setting or in a community nursing or rehab team.
4. Supervision of staff
Technical Skills Competencies
Essential criteria
5. Moving & handling skills and able to use specialist equipment appropriate to the patient group.
6. Ability to assess, manage and provide nursing interventions to patients with neurological conditions and those with complex multi pathologies at specialist level.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
7. Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of stroke/neurology
