Job Title : Family Day Saturday Volunteer Location : Lye-By-Pass, Stourbridge, Dudley - DY9 8HA Hours : Saturdays 10am-2pm Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of disabled children and young people? Kids is seeking a dedicated Family Day Saturday Volunteer to join our team, helping to set up and deliver our Family Day Saturday session to children and young people with diverse needs and their families. Family Day Saturdays is a group set up for parent/carers, their disabled young person and their siblings to attend as a family and engage in play in a safe and supportive environment. We encourage peer support between parents, and our role is to facilitate activities for the whole family to enjoy. This role offers the chance to work alongside our Senior Practitioner to deliver a variety of fun and engaging activities for all. Key Roles: Collaborate with a dedicated team to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for children and young people. Support a wide range of fun, stimulating activities tailored to different ages and abilities. Offer support to parent/carers, a listening ear and a safe space for them to attend with their young person without judgement Undertake tasks set out by the Senior Practitioner to ensure the smooth running of the session Uphold safeguarding policies, ensuring a safe environment for all.
