Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager Non-US plays an important role in the daily functions of the Accounting Department. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to general accounting functions, financial reporting and analysis, A/R and A/P processing, cost accounting, internal controls, month -end close processing as well as other various administrative and departmental functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for month-end closing activities (journal entries, GL trend review, fixed assets, account reconciliations) for all Non-US locations
2. Review / approve AP invoices and serve as a backup for preparation of wire transfers
3. Coordinate internal and external tax and audit activities (UK, PL, Singapore
4. Timely and accurate reporting on general ledger and financial results
5. Ensure compliance with company cycle count and physical inventory count guidelines
6. Assist with preparation of annual company budgets and monthly forecasts
7. Ensure compliance with Marmon Standard Practice Instruction (SPI) guidelines
8. Prepare and file monthly VAT tax filings
9. Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies:
10. Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance required
11. Previous experience in Aerospace or distribution preferred
