An exciting opportunity to take full responsibility for the financial operations of two groups and their international subsidiaries. This senior role involves preparing management and statutory accounts, handling multi-currency consolidations, budgeting, tax compliance, payroll, and liaising with global accountants and regulatory bodies.
You'll manage everything from day-to-day transactions to quarterly reporting and annual audits, using Sage, Excel, and Iris software. The position is ideal for an experienced accountant with strong attention to detail and international exposure.

The Role
* Full responsibility for financial and management accounting across two groups and their subsidiaries
* Prepare management accounts and annual statutory financial statements
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis using Excel and Sage Line 50
* Oversee payroll, VAT/GST returns, and UK/international tax compliance
* Maintain and reconcile multi-currency ledgers across numerous companies/branches
* Liaise with auditors, overseas accountants, and tax agents in multiple jurisdictions (e.g., Australia, USA, Sweden, Zambia)
* Administer intercompany transactions, loan documentation, and interest calculations
* Ensure timely submission of all required financial reports and tax forms are submitted on time
* Maintain fixed asset register, manage bank transactions, and monitor cash flow
The Person
* Fully CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant
* Experience/knowledge of IFRS and working with multi-currency
* Experience of preparation of statuary accounts
* Candidates with an accountancy practice background would be of interest
* Strong IT skills, including MS Excel, SAGE 50, IRIS, XERO
* System migration experience would be an advantage but not essential
