We are seeking a CAD designer to take projects from order through to production readiness and beyond. Using Autodesk Inventor 3D and AutoCAD. We will consider those with less experience but the right attitude and also those with more experience - but you still have to have the right attitude. You will need attention to detail and a desire to help our customers and your colleagues.
Salary range depending on experience and competency.
08:30 to 17.30, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities and Duties (not exhaustive):
* Assist sales with pre-order drawing support
* Review orders received and liaise with customers to clarify requirements as necessary
* Clarify commercial / pricing with sales as necessary
* Compile standard products from library and design any special items
* Accurately prepare associated production control documents
* Accuately complete priced sales orders
* Assist production with any queries
Qualifications and Skills:
* Highly organised, excellent communicator both verbal & written
* A pro-active self-starter who loves to solve problems
* Attention to detail
* Good knowledge of Excel
* Must be flexible and a team player
* Open to learn and adapt to different systems and processes
