Overview
Join our dedicated team as an Assistant Site Controller, where you\'ll play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-functioning environment. This hands-on role offers varied responsibilities, working closely with the Site Manager and Estates Manager to ensure our school buildings, grounds, and facilities are well maintained.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance & Security - Carry out regular inspections of the premises, grounds, and equipment, helping to maintain a clean and secure environment. Complete maintenance works as required. Work alongside contractors to complete maintenance tasks, works, and refurbishment projects.
* Health & Safety Compliance - Assist with routine safety checks, including fire alarm testing, PAT testing, maintaining the Fire Safety Logbook and care of the school minibus, ensuring they are well-maintained and roadworthy.
Qualifications
* A full driving license (D1 category desirable or willingness to train) as you may be required to support students and staff travel.
* A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and maintenance tasks.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* A good understanding of Health & Safety regulations (or a willingness to learn).
* An approachable, dependable team player who builds positive relationships with staff, students, and contractors.
