Core Responsibilities Recruitment Coordination: Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process—from drafting job descriptions and posting adverts to coordinating interview schedules and managing candidate correspondence. Single Central Record (SCR) Mastery: Maintaining the school’s SCR with absolute precision, ensuring all pre-employment checks (DBS, right to work, references, and qualifications) are completed in line with "Keeping Children Safe in Education" (KCSIE). Employee Lifecycle Management: Managing the administration of new starter inductions, contract variations, and leaver processes, ensuring all personnel files are accurate and GDPR-compliant. Payroll & Absence Tracking: Coordinating with the finance department to provide accurate data for monthly payroll, including the recording of sickness absence, maternity/paternity leave, and unpaid leave. Policy Support: Assisting the School Business Manager in keeping HR policies up-to-date and providing first-line advice to staff on basic terms and conditions of employment. Wellbeing Initiatives: Supporting the coordination of staff wellbeing programmes, CPD schedules, and internal communications to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Why This School?
