Transport Operator About Us: At ARR Craib Ltd, we are committed to delivering excellence in logistics and transport services. Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of compliance and operational efficiency. We are currently seeking a Transport Operator to join our team at our Aberdeen, Dyce site. This position involves planning and scheduling within the General Fleet operation and ensuring that the customers' requirements are met. You will work closely with the Transport Manager and other team members coordinating the day to day running at this busy site. Assist the Transport Manager to manage and motivate the transport team to ensure that staff and assets are used effectively to attain maximum performance in terms of commercial contract efficiency, profit, and client service levels. Ensure deliveries and collections are completed as per customer requirements whilst also monitoring KPI for delivery on time, shift revenue and vehicle utilisation. Ensure units/trailers are presented for inspection as per published schedule. Communicating collection times and delivery bookings with customers. Work with the Fleet Team to ensure defects are rectified in a timely manner. Meet daily revenue targets per shift and per vehicle. Adherence to policies and procedures within the Business Area. Previous experience of working within a similar role in the logistics industry. Have a good understanding of legal compliance, driver's hours and WTD's. MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Competitive Salary : 37,000 per annum - 42,000 per annum, depending on experience. Hours : 07:00hrs - 17:00hrs, Monday to Friday and every 1 in 7 weekends. Training : Monthly courses for a variety of areas.
