We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Worksop, looking for a Commercial Administrator to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is data-driven, analytical, and confident working with advanced Excel and business systems. The role involves managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to final pricing and delivery, supporting both standalone projects and long-term framework contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain internal systems including CRM, Lotus Notes, and Business Central
* Handle customer enquiries from initial scope through to delivery
* Review requirements to determine if products can be manufactured off-the-shelf or require redesign
* Liaise with engineers to assess feasibility and production capabilities
* Analyse costing sheets, margins, and assist with accurate pricing
* Push production teams on lead times where needed
* Assist with forecasting and workload planning
* Interrogate systems to collate, analyse, and present commercial data
* Provide administrative support across contracts and project documentation
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a commercial support or project administration role within manufacturing or engineering
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced level essential)
* Experience using CRM platforms, Lotus Notes, and Business Central (or similar ERP systems)
* Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
* Confident working cross-functionally with engineering, production, and commercial teams
* Able to manage multiple enquiries and prioritise effectively
