Job Purpose
In the role of Senior Design Engineer, support design and development activities as well as manufacturing and aftermarket support for a full range of diesel fuel injection and exhaust treatment products.
Key Responsibilities
* Design of diesel fuel injection system components
* Design and prepare concept 3D graphical models
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings using latest geometric dimensioning and tolerance practices
* Select and approve special characteristics on drawings
* Analyze customer’s and legislative test requirements and formulate technically cost-effective solutions
* Contribute to formal and informal design and development reviews at appropriate stages of projects
* Write reports and present results to internal and external audiences
* Prepare and execute simulation models
* Interpret test data, synthesize results, and report findings
* Gain exposure to high-precision manufacturing technologies required to produce advanced designs
* Assess designs using established DFMEA methods to develop robust products
* Contribute to project reviews and product development
