Capital City College is looking for a skilled Visual Arts Technician to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London. This is a full-time, permanent role based at Angel, London, supporting students and teachers of A-level visual art subjects, and cross-centre events and activities.
Capital City College is a well-established, oversubscribed specialist A-level centre with a diverse and inclusive community.
Responsibilities
* Support the work of students and teachers of A-level visual arts subjects.
* Support cross-centre events and activities related to visual arts.
* Contribute to enrichment and extension activities to develop students' confidence and skills.
* Provide high-quality technical support to the visual arts studios and workshops as part of a collaborative team.
About You
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
* Good understanding of the working mechanisms of visual arts studios and workshops.
* Proficiency in Mac and Windows; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator).
* Proactive, willing to learn and adapt.
* Knowledge of contemporary art practices and materials used in Fine Art, Textiles, Graphics, and Photography.
* Ready to contribute positively to the college community.
