Interim Group Financial Controller
📍 Edinburgh (Hybrid)
⏳ 6-month contract
💷 £450-£550 per day
We are currently working with a client in Edinburgh who is seeking an experienced Interim Group Financial Controller to support the business over a 6-month period.
This is a senior, hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting, group reporting, and leadership capability within a complex organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead group financial reporting, consolidation, and month-end processes
2. Oversee statutory accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards
3. Manage and develop the group finance team
4. Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge
5. Support process improvement and finance transformation initiatives
6. Liaise with auditors and external advisors
Candidate Profile:
7. Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
8. Proven experience in a Group Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
9. Strong technical accounting and consolidation experience
10. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, interim environment
11. Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
