<div><h3>Dental Lab Technician — Part‑time</h3><p>The Digital Dental Laboratory Technician at Kornberg School of Dentistry will collaborate with faculty, residents, and students to design, fabricate, and deliver digital prostheses with CAD/CAM technology.</p><p>Salary: $19.00–$20.00 per hour.</p><h3>Essential Duties</h3><ul><li>Work with faculty to review and check digital impressions, design, mill, stain, and glaze prostheses.</li><li>Provide CAD/CAM training and demonstrations to students and faculty.</li><li>Manage operation flow, assign and maintain digital equipment, and coordinate lab processing of digital prostheses.</li><li>Prepare and maintain casts, nesting, milling, finishing, staining, and glazing of crowns and bridges.</li><li>Maintain all CAD/CAM equipment and inventory of materials, and identify new efficient materials with department chair.</li><li>Order and maintain CAD/CAM materials, and assist in designing and 3D printing surgical guides.</li><li>Enter and verify digital scans and work orders for external laboratory services.</li><li>Assist in collecting clinical data for scanning and provide input on new technologies for curriculum improvement.</li><li>Support pre‑clinical digital curriculum and supervise faculty and students in data collection.</li></ul><h3>Required Education and Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelors degree in a field with heavy CAD/CAM applications.</li><li>At least 6 months of directly related CAD/CAM experience.</li><li>Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Education and Experience</h3><ul><li>Dental-related knowledge and experience.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills and Abilities</h3><ul><li>Ability to travel to off‑site clinics as required.</li><li>Proficiency with CAD/CAM technologies and lab equipment.</li><li>Strong hand‑eye coordination and dexterity with small instruments.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team.</li><li>Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.</li><li>Ability to work with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.</li><li>Great attention to detail and sound judgment.</li></ul><h3>Equity and Diversity Statement</h3><p>Temple University is committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all in every aspect of its operations, including employment, service, and educational programs.
