This leadership role will focus on shaping and delivering the Market Unit people strategy, ensuring alignment between workforce planning, business growth objectives, client engagement, organisational transformation, and long-term capability development. The position requires a highly strategic yet hands-on HR leader with deep expertise in workforce transformation, talent management, employee relations, organisational culture, and leadership partnership within large-scale, matrixed environments. What you will do: Lead strategic workforce planning activities aligned with client demand, digital transformation, AI adoption, and evolving market conditions. Define and implement workforce models that support agility, innovation, operational efficiency, and scalable delivery capabilities. Develop and execute talent attraction, retention, and succession planning strategies for critical and client-facing roles. Strengthen employer branding, employee value proposition, and workforce engagement initiatives. Drive organisational culture, employee experience, morale, and retention initiatives across hybrid and geographically distributed teams. Partner with leadership teams to foster inclusivity, collaboration, and cultural alignment across the organisation. Act as a strategic HR partner during major client engagements, bid activities, mobilisation initiatives, and business transitions. Support the proactive management of people-related risks and opportunities during organisational change and contract delivery activities. Define and enhance the HR operating model, team capabilities, and service delivery effectiveness supporting the Market Unit. Advise senior leadership on business planning, growth strategies, organisational performance, and people-related priorities. Provide coaching, guidance, and constructive challenge to senior leaders navigating complex business and workforce challenges. Embed leadership development frameworks, talent standards, and performance feedback practices across the organisation. Manage complex employee relations and industrial relations matters including engagement with trade unions, works councils, and employee forums. Support transformation and organisational change initiatives while maintaining employee trust and engagement. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across recruitment, talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement strategies. Establish metrics, accountability measures, and reporting frameworks to track DEI progress and organisational impact. Leverage people analytics, dashboards, and workforce data to support evidence-based HR decision-making. Identify workforce risks, capability gaps, and organisational opportunities through data-driven analysis. Support HR governance, compliance, and risk management activities across the business unit. Lead HR transformation initiatives including operating model redesign, digital enablement, and capability development programmes.
