Care Team Leader Location: Residential Home, Bideford Service User Group: Learning Disability / Autism and Mental Health Conditions Hours: 37.5 hours per week Pay Rate: £14.44 per hour Rota: Rolling three-week rota, with one weekend on every three weeks (must strictly adhere to this pattern) On-Call Payment: £10.00 per call Role Summary As a Care Team Leader, you will lead a dedicated team delivering person-centred care to adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health conditions. Your role involves coordinating care delivery, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support the care team to provide high-quality, compassionate care. Manage the rolling three-week rota, ensuring one weekend on in three is worked. Oversee care plans and risk assessments, ensuring they are implemented and regularly updated. Provide on-call support as part of the rota, paid at £10.00 per call. Maintain communication with families, health professionals, and other stakeholders. Promote a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for service users. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and safeguarding regulations. Essential Skills and Experience NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care is essential. Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a care setting. Understanding of care needs relating to Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage rotas and lead teams effectively.
