Reports to: Engineering Manager Direct reports: N/A Coordinates with: Maintenance Team, Production Management Job Purpose: To use multi engineering skills to ensure that the site and machinery run to their maximum efficiency without compromising food safety, legality or product specification. This will be achieved by a pro-active and preventative maintenance approach together with constant vigilance to allow continuous production processes. Tasks: (this list is not exhaustive) * To carry out preventative maintenance tasks and general maintenance around the site * Respond to equipment breakdown in a fast and professional manner in order to maximise equipment up-time * Identify and resolve root cause of failure * Executing all engineering task either scheduled or impromptu * Accurate completion of maintenance paperwork * Ensure all procedures relating to personal and food safety are adhered to at all times * Setting up lines in the morning according to production * Active involvement in our positive food safety culture * Attending production lines when needed to aid production * Knowledge of working with flow wrap machines, metal detectors and ink jets machines * Welding knowledge preferable * Pneumatic knowledge * Knowledge Heating systems * Knowledge of conveyor systems * Knowledge of ovens * Knowledge of turbo temp and enrobing machines * Work with a positive food safety culture in mind Monday - Thursday (7am - 5.30pm) £38,000
