We are recruiting for a Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a hugely successful small animal practice based in Warrington, Cheshire. This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with 1 in 4 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
The practice believes in the importance of a good work-life balance and offering the continual opportunity to progress and develop your clinical skills.
This role would suit a candidate with good UK experience and someone who has a bias in surgery. The Vet must be passionate and dedicated to providing high quality veterinary care.
You will be an ambitious surgeon who wishes to continue to develop your professional knowledge and clinical skill set. Areas of special interest will be supported and certificates funded. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills are vital.

Duties
7. In collaboration with the head vet, provide the appropriate mentoring to drive the vet team's clinical compliance and continuous development
8. Collaborate in a positive and professional manner with the whole surgery team to deliver best patient care whilst adhering to practice procedures
9. Take clinical direction from the clinical director or head vet
10. Demonstrate flexibility to share daily tasks and responsibilities amongst the veterinary team
11. Deputise for the clinical director or head vet in their absence

Package
23. Salary: £65, to £80, per annum, commensurate to experience
