Specialist Resource Provision Teaching Assistant within Brigg Primary School contract linked to a child (for the length of time the child attends the unit, anticipated up to 3 years)
We are looking for a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) and make a profound difference in the life of a child with complex needs.
This is a uniquely rewarding opportunity to provide dedicated support that spans both academic engagement and essential personal care, ensuring the child feels safe, dignified, and ready to learn. You will be a vital anchor for this child, implementing bespoke learning plans while fostering their independence and well-being in a supportive, inclusive environment. In addition, supporting the other children within the unit as part of a small, dedicated team of teaching assistants striving for the best learning opportunities for the children they work with.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
1. Has the ability to work with a team in a responsive and flexible manner, responding to the instruction and advice of the provision lead.
2. Can use their initiative to solve problems.
3. Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
4. Experience of supporting children with speech and communication needs
5. Experience of working with children with autism and unpredictable behaviour patterns.
6. To build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.
