With 28 retail travel branches distributed across East Anglia and the South Coast, our retail team are on hand to offer holiday advice whenever needed. We are also the UK General Sales Agents for Star Clippers, Amadeus River Cruises, Pandaw River Cruises and American Cruise Lines. Additionally, from our Head Office in Ipswich we operate Fred. Olsen Business Travel providing a full corporate travel service and Fred. Holidays specialising in tailormade holidays in Rail and cruises, as well as Go Cruise and Travel Franchises. Responsibilities
* Lead the Reservations Sales Department to deliver exceptional service, strong sales performance, and operational efficiency.
* Ensure the department meets and exceeds budgeted sales, conversion, and income targets while maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction.
* Drive strategy, implement best practice processes, and provide coaching and development to build a highly motivated, skilled, and results-driven team.
* Collaborate with senior leadership and other business areas to support growth and the long-term success of Fred. Tour Operations.
* Manage continuous improvement and projects while building and managing a high-performing sales team.
* This is a permanent Full-Time position based at our Head Office (Fred Olsen House, White House Road, Ipswich, IP1 5LL) with a 35-hour week, Monday to Friday, and Saturdays as required according to business needs.
Qualifications
* Previous travel industry experience is desirable but not essential.
* Strong ability to drive continuous improvement and manage projects, and to lead a successful sales team.
