Join Our Team as a Class 2 HGV Driver
About Us:
Bullet Express is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our dedicated retail team on a temporary basis. If you're passionate about driving and delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you The position is from September until December with the potential to extend beyond this. Working nights are Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday with a 9pm start. Shift is based on ten hours but is job and finish. Weekly pay of £615.28 plus a weekend allowance of £46.15.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently delivering palletised freight using tail lift and pallet truck.
* Working with two man team to handball goods ( boxes ) at delivery point.
* Working with team to unload trailer and build pallets.
* Accurately complete and submit all work-related paperwork at the end of each shift.
* Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
* Report any non-conformity or near misses to your line manager promptly.
* Secure freight safely for transit.
* Ensure timely deliveries and maintain the integrity of goods during transit and delivery.
* Using industry leading technology for route optimisation and proof of delivery capture.
What We're Looking For:
Experience & Personal Qualities:
* Proven experience driving Heavy Goods Vehicles.
* Experience in power pallet truck.
* Experience in electronic delivery equipment.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Pride in maintaining and respecting the provided equipment.
* Strong ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
Licence/Certification:
* Digital Tacho Card (Required)
* Appropriate Driving License (Required)
* Driver CPC (Required)
* Comprehensive knowledge of driver regulations (Required)
