About MATTS

Capstone Foster Care has developed a Multidisciplinary Assessment Treatment and Therapy Service (MATTS) which provides assessment, consultation and therapy to children and young people looked after in their fostering services. MATTS is overseen by a Clinical Director and led in each region by an employed Clinical Lead. The team comprises a variety of experienced clinicians including Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists, Creative Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists and many more. Due to growth in our service and the longer-term support we provide, we are looking to recruit experienced Therapists to support from many different modalities. We will then be able to support many more fostering families and the children they care for.

Our Therapists are self-employed and are commissioned to undertake specific pieces of assessment and intervention. We work collaboratively as a multidisciplinary team around the young person and fostering family.

We Are Specifically Looking For

* Child & Adolescent psychotherapists
* Family / Dyadic therapists
* Creative Arts Therapists (Art, Drama, Music)
* Dance Movement Psychotherapists
* Play, Filial and Theraplay Therapists

Responsibilities

Work could include undertaking clinical support to the foster carers and to the professional network, as well as undertaking specialist assessment of the child or young person and offering direct intervention. This is a unique, multidisciplinary service working in an adaptive and responsive way, to support children and young people within their foster family.

Safeguarding and Diversity

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is enshrined within Capstone Foster Care’s policy and practice. We expect our employees to share this commitment with us.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. We welcome and value individuals of all backgrounds and experiences, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
