Interim Urgent Care Service Manager
Location: London (multi-site, 3-4 days per week on-site)
Contract: Day rate (Inside IR35)
Start: Immediate
Duration: 3–5 months (with potential extension)
We are working with a leading integrated urgent care provider to appoint an experienced Interim Urgent Care Service Manager to provide critical operational leadership during a period of transition.
This role will take day-to-day responsibility for managing a portfolio of urgent care services across multiple London sites, including 111, OOH, and CAS services.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead operational delivery across urgent care services in and out of hours
* Provide visible leadership and manage dispersed teams across multiple sites
* Oversee service performance, compliance, rota planning, and escalation processes
* Support strategic objectives and deputise for the Head of Urgent and Primary Care
* Participate in the Silver on-call rota (1 in 3 pattern, including evenings/weekends)
Key requirements:
* Significant leadership experience in urgent care / out-of-hours / integrated services
* Strong working knowledge of Adastra and urgent care operating models
* Demonstrated ability to manage performance, risk, rota coverage, and service improvement
* Available to be based on-site 4 days per week and to work flexibly across locations
* Comfortable with the demands of a Silver on-call rota
