Duties:
12. Supervise and motivate a team of technicians and apprentices to meet daily targets
13. Review and prioritise the workload proactively to ensure efficient workflow
14. Assist the Service Manager in achieving departmental profitability and customer retention goals
15. Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through quality checks and effective communication
16. Ensure compliance with company policies, DVSA regulations, health and safety standards, and OEM policies
17. Coordinate workshop activities and schedule work to meet customer needs and workshop targets
18. Support technicians during repairs, offering technical guidance, and producing technical reports when necessary
19. Maintain relationships with vehicle manufacturers to ensure high standards are upheld within the workshop
20. Implement best practices to promote high-quality service and efficiency in the workshop setting
Requirements:
21. Proven experience in a Workshop Controller position or similar role within a dealership environment
22. Strong leadership and team management skills
23. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
24. Knowledge of industry standards and health and safety regulations
25. Excellent communication skills at all levels
26. A technically competent individual with an understanding of modern vehicle repair processes
27. A customer-focused approach with a drive to deliver outstanding service
