Human Factors EngineerClient: BAE SystemsDuration: 12 monthsLocation: Christchurch - BH23 4JE Hourly Rate: £57 PAYE or £76.98 Umbrella Working Arrangement: 3 days on site – flexibility requiredRole Overview You will support the Lead Human Factors Specialist in delivering Human Factors Integration and User-Centred Design activities across complex, safety-critical systems.Key Responsibilities
* Support Human Factors Integration across system design and development
* Engage with users and stakeholders through workshops and trials
* Assess equipment, prototypes, and mock-ups against user needs
* Conduct Human Factors analyses (e.g. task analysis, usability, workload, human error)
* Support integration testing and verification activities
* Contribute to reports and programme deliverables
* Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
RequirementsExperience
* Minimum 5 years' Human Factors experience in defence or safety-critical industries
* Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
* Knowledge of Human Factors Integration principles and Def Stan 00-251
Qualifications
* Degree (or equivalent) in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or Engineering
* Professional membership of CIEHF or working towards chartership
