Position: Press Brake Operator
Location: East Kilbride
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly rate: £16.00 (depending on experience)
Hours
* Mon - Wed: 6:30am - 5:00pm
* Thurs: 6:30am - 3:00pm
* Fri & Sat: Overtime available
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate press brake machinery
* Manufacture components to customer specifications and tolerances
* Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
* Carry out quality checks throughout production
* Ensure correct tooling is selected and maintained
* Assist in the development of new projects
* Keep machine and surrounding area clean and safe
* Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
* Work flexibly to meet production demands
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience setting up and leading press brake operations
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tight tolerances
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good problem-solving skills and team mentality
* Flexibility to support overtime and project deadlines
* Good level of IT literacy
* Contribute to company values and teamwork
